The Smartconnect was designed by us to enable you to quickly and neatly connect a product such as grill flashers and other peripherals. You connect positive and negative and all wires coming from the control, the position on the connection terminal does not matter. Then when you activate a button on the control, the LED lights up the position to which you need to connect the wire, coming from grill flash or other consumer. So you don't need to read a diagram, just follow lit LEDs. You can easily mount all wires on the screw terminals, after which you screw on the cover to protect the whole. Should you ever come across an electrical fault, you can easily reach the screw terminals again and the LEDs give you an instant overview of whether all functions work or not. Soldered connections, for instance, do not offer you this possibility. So you don't need heat-shrink tubing, solder or cable lugs - this is another saving
